So könnten Diskussionen auf Festivals klingen, wenn die VJ-Gruppe Masterdamus ihre Hand im Spiel hat. Dorian Nathan gründete die Gruppe vor gut sechs Jahren in London, mittlerweile arbeiten sie auch von Australien aus. Immer das Ziel vor Augen, elektronische Musik in allen Aspekten zu visualisieren und jeden erdenklichen Traum real werden zu lassen. So wird die Festival-Umgebung fotografiert, auf Leinwände gebannt, und dann werden digital Elfen, Trolle oder Außerirdische hineingesetzt. Wenn du also beim nächsten Open Air Shiva oder einen Magier im Wald triffst, war wohl Masterdamus vor Ort. Es sind Illusionen von visuellen Trips, die in der Realität passieren, kreiert in Kugel- oder Pyramidenform, oder es öffnet sich ein 3D-Tunnel hinter dem DJ. Abgestimmt auf dessen Beats, fließen die Farben und Muster ineinander - so sieht wohl ein psychedelisches Wurmloch aus. Visuelle Erlebnisse der Superlative, die Masterdamus zum Beispiel schon Bookings auf der Boom oder der VooV Experience und Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Hallucinogen, Skazi, Infected Mushroom, Freq einbrachten ...

Like that the discussions could be on festivals when the VJ-group Masterdamus has a finger in the pie.

Dorian Nathan aka Masterdamus founded the group more than six years ago in London with STV and Micology and creating the »Visual Live Act«.
The show and their Screening innovations spreaded to Australia, Israel, and European festivals.

Their goal is to visualize electronic music scene in all its aspects and to realize every dream to be possible in real-time.

So they for example take photos of the real woods or landscape surrounding a festival, put it on screens and add digitally created elves, dwarfs, aliens ...
They call it a Fantasy Screen. So when you meet Shiva or some magician at your next festival-visit, be sure that Masterdamus was there.

Illusions of visual trips which happen in the reality, as unique screens are created in multi dimensional forms such as a pole, a dome or a pyramid, expanding the usual flat screen to a new interactive concept – the viewer‘s point of view.
Sometimes the dancers get filmed by the Masterdamus-crew AND implanted in surreal-fictive worlds through out their show. Or a 3D-tunnel literally opens up behind the DJ where in his BPM-rhythms colours are floating in deep space – just like that a psychedelic worm-hole must look like.

Masterdamus creates the themes and concepts to give life to the events concept and style.

Visual experiences at its best Masterdamus showed on festivals like: Boom, VooV Experience, Earthcore, Samothraki, Rainbow Serpent ...

and created shows and video clips for artists like:
Hallucinogen, Skazi, Infected Mushroom, Freq, Sun Project and many others ...
